ah weekend full of old and new memories...

this was a great weekend! i had the chance to reconnect with old friends. this was a great thing after what i previously posted. i really think somebody is listening!

last saturday, i had breakfast with ex-officemates and wonderful friends Gina and Mia. Gina, like me, also has a new job. she is now working for a BPO and is very happy where she is. siyempre nag exchange kami ng mga new experiences after being in the same office for so long. it was actually fun sharing the times where we get so amazed, and I mean super amazed, with how things are in other companies. like having everything almost done online, intranet baga! wala masyadong paper trail so hindi mo na problem ang maubusan ng bond paper or masiraan ng printer...especially kapag payroll! heheheh! that was fun!

Mia on the otherhand, is still with the same company pero boss na siya! let's go Mia!!! congratulations! you deserve it! but goodluck with your new found challenge. kaya mo iyan...we are always here beside you to support you! all the way!

after breakfast, i and gina went straight to katipunan, mia went home to get some sleep (she just got off from work). we met up with prec and kuh and had lunch at the new teriyaki boy there! sarap!!! as always! masarap pala yung...yung...basta yung asparagus na wrapped with bacon. saya! i need to eat that again, soon! medyo mahirap lang ang parking dun so kung sinuman ang may ari nun...please...parking space! we then went to sweet inspirations for desert and coffee. well....okay lang dun...buti na lang i was with great company...although masarap yung cream puffs nila!

after that, we went separate ways then gina n I went to ateneo, met up with mia and bf jacque to watch evert's play, Satirica! and may i say evert, it was not the best play of yours ive seen, but a great story indeed. and please, eve, the kissing scene...don't do that again! congratulations and miss you so much!

my sunday was also filled with get togethers.

i went to philamlife in the afternoon to watch the big concert of my old chorale group in college, the UP Vocal Ensemble. sosyal na sila, philamlife na ang concert! and they did some choreo! kudos to all of you guys...
as usual my favorites of the repertoire were "Sana'y Maghintay ang Walang Hanggan", "Umiikot, Sumisirko" and "Bahay". great songs, for a good choir!

hello to the upve alumni as well, the thundercats! pam (n bf), terrence, omar, jay, lloyd, jewel (happy birthday), joan n rex ( n friend), yanee, ricky, topher...and the VE resident members! also to the conductor, dr raul navarro. congrats! (happy birthday na rin...)

after the concert, the thundercats had dinner at the gilligan's island restaurant along nakpil st. there we had a feast of sisig, liempo, vegetable karekare, fried bangus belly, bbq chicken and pusit. sarap! nagugutom na ulit ako! aside from the delectable food, nakakabusog din ang pagpapatawa ni lloyd. (winnered ka talaga! - as joecar would say...) siyempre nabaliw sila yanee, ricky at jewel sa pagpapalit anyo mo! hahaha
it was a good night though! lots of catching up and lots of laughter and siyempre, mawawala ba ang kantahan on the side! never! pero dapat sa susunod, videoke na to!

all in all, twas a great weekend!
being able to collect old memories and lay them out for everyone to see...
being able to create new memories with the people you hold dear to your heart...
being able to reconnect in any means possible and make sure, friends are here to stay.
friendship is here to stay...
